Hello and welcome. I will be in the Antarctic this winter working as a Mechanic for ALE - Antarctic Logistics & Expeditions, operating from their field camp at Union Glacier in the Heritage Range of the Ellsworth Mountains. My tasks throughout the season will be varied but my primary role is to maintain and operate the two vehicles shown below. I will try and update this page regularly but because of limited web access this may not always be possible, but please check back soon for updates.

Nothing to report except that flying conditions still unsuitable at UG with high winds and blowing snow.
